Our manufacturing facilities include a foundry which is capable of casting ferrous and non-ferrous alloys and uses both sand moulding and centrifugal casting techniques.
With up to 250kg induction melting capacity Geographe can cast high quality castings in most alloy types.
Geographe employs the latest technologies in addition to the best engineers and tradesmen and is one of very few gear manufacturers in the country to own a Hofler gear grinder.
This state of the art gear grinder performs to DIN 2 quality.
There is more to Geographe than meets the eye. Extensive heat treatment facilities with additional fluid bed furnaces have allowed greater capacity and even faster turnaround for clients. Geographe carry out various thermal processes under precisely controlled conditions to improve the physical and mechanical properties of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Most noteworthy is the standardised quality that the automated heat treatment facilities provide.
High-quality treatments for external surfaces of manufactured parts and components are available. Our treatments give additional characteristics that extend their operational lifespan in harsh operating environments.
While we offer a range of standard industrial treatments, we specialise in precision Chrome Plating, Phosphate Coating and Two Pack spray painting.
