The Problem
A tier 1 iron ore miner reported to Geographe that on their shuttle assembly, the shuttle wheel was coming loose on the axle, creating safety and reliability issues.
The Solution
By adding an enhanced retention system, also known as a Super Nut, along with a modified shaft and wheel. Geographe was able to modify the assembly, while ensuring it remained interchangeable with existing shuttle assembly. This modification created a safe and secure outcome for our clients fleet.
