The Geographe On-Demand Manufacturing Centre was designed to keep your machines running when the global supply chain lets you down. 

Located in Western Australia, our state-of-the-art facility leverages 24/7 automated robotic cells and fully integrated production processes. Because we control everything from design to final quality assurance locally, we don't have to wait on international freight. This allows us to offer a 3 to 4-week... or even faster manufacturing turnaround on core parts if not already stocked.

Delivering supply chain certainty

To deliver on a 3-to-4 week lead time, complete control over the manufacturing process is required.

We have built our Bunbury Innovation Hub to eliminate third-party supply bottlenecks through end-to-end vertical integration.

We manufacture and stock: Pins, Bushes, Bearings, Plates & Covers to suit:

  • Haul Trucks: Caterpillar, Komatsu, Liebherr, Hitachi

  • Excavators: Caterpillar, Komatsu, Liebherr, Hitachi

1. Secured Raw Materials

We don't wait for steel. Backed by a 50-year partnership with our primary material supplier, we hold the premium raw materials required to start manufacturing the moment your order is confirmed. Local manufacturing means no international freight delays, giving you the reliability you need to hit your production targets.

2. In-House Foundry Capabilities

For components requiring complex castings, outsourcing to external foundries can introduce massive delays. To combat this, we operate our own on-site Ferrous and Non-ferrous Foundry. By pouring our own castings locally, we maintain strict metallurgical control and completely bypass the long lead times associated with imported cast parts.

3. 24/7 Automated Production

Our advanced manufacturing machining centres are built around continuous, "lights-out" autonomous operation. This highly automated, hands-off approach drastically reduces machining bottlenecks and is the key driver behind our 3-to-4 week output speeds. Our capabilities include:

  • CNC Multitasking: A comprehensive suite of state-of-the-art CNC lathes and mills.

  • Autonomous Loading: Direct machine loading by fully autonomous FANUC Robots, allowing production to run 24/7 without overnight manual intervention.

  • Seamless Material Transport: Heavy components and materials are moved between cells by Dematic Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), ensuring exact consistency in quality and delivery.

4. In-House Heat Treatment

Heat treatment is historically one of the most severe external bottlenecks in the manufacturing supply chain. Outsourcing this critical step can add weeks to delivery times. At Geographe, we own this process completely.

  • IPSEN Twin Lane Continuous Gas Carburising Furnace: The largest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere, allowing us to process vast volumes of heavy mobile equipment rapidly.

  • Deep Cryogenic Treatment: We are the exclusive provider of Deep Cryogenic Treatment tanks for heavy parts in Western Australia, significantly improving wear resistance.

  • Precision Induction Hardening & Quench and Temper: Delivering precise, repeatable results targeting the exact locations where abrasion strikes hardest.

Certified to ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards, our internal quality control guarantees that the part you receive fits perfectly. Before any part leaves our facility, it must pass through our Climate-Controlled Inspection Room. Here, components are comprehensively validated using highly advanced Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to ensure they meet exact tolerances.

Absolute Material Traceability: Every single Geographe-manufactured product is permanently stamped with our job number and part number for immediate identification inside your ERP systems, ensuring lifetime traceability.

  • Material Certificates: Provided for all raw materials sourced from specifically vetted mills internationally (including France, Germany, and China).

  • Audited Supply Chain: Over 525T of raw material is purchased annually through our closely monitored network.

  • Long-Term Partnerships: Our goal is to build enduring relationships that secure consistency, highlighted by our 50-year ongoing partnership with Vostalpine, our primary material supply partner.

  • Lifetime Traceability: Every Geographe-manufactured product is permanently stamped with our job number and part number for immediate identification inside your ERP systems.

While our On-Demand Centre is optimized for rapid 3-4 week turnarounds on wear parts, our vertically integrated facility is also fully equipped to handle complex, long-term engineering projects.

Asset Refurbishment & Component Rebuilds

We offer comprehensive repair and refurbishment services for critical mining equipment. By combining our advanced reverse engineering and parts manufacturing capabilities with expert in-house assembly, we can restore major assemblies and components to "zero-hour" condition. This ensures extended asset life and significant cost savings compared to purchasing new OEM assemblies.

As one of Australia’s leading industrial gearbox service providers, we provide a full suite of in-house services for the manufacture of complex gears. Our Gleason 1200G Profile Grinding Machine covers the typical range of gears up to 1,250 mm in diameter, perfect for high grinding performance at large profile depths.
